Meet Our Tutors
Mia H.
“I find success in my students making incremental progress. Learning is not a linear progress, baby steps forward are still steps!”
Charlie G.
“It is all about mindset! I understand how frustrating and stressful it is to learn new material. Sometimes, being a good student requires feeling completely lost; learning is an uncomfortable but incredibly rewarding process. Once a student realizes that a challenge is an opportunity for growth rather than discomfort, I feel successful as a tutor.”
Kendyl B.
“I look to build two research-backed indicators of success in students! First, I want to help students be confident, even in uncomfortable situations. Confidence is a cornerstone of academic growth, allowing students to be more interactive, proactive, and resilient. Second, I want students to apply their knowledge and study skills to tackle difficult problems rather than relying on memorization and regurgitation. Successful students approach problems with a toolbox rather than an encyclopedia.”
Ryan S.
“I don’t feel successful as a tutor unless my students leave a session feeling more comfortable and confident than when they started!”
